Dodgers outright Tsao to Las Vegas: The Dodgers outrighted reliever Chin-hui Tsao to Triple-A Las Vegas and are awaiting Tsao's decision to accept or reject and choose free agency.
Notes: Tsao back on disabled list: The Dodgers addressed their bullpen crunch Sunday by recalling D.J. Houlton from Triple-A Las Vegas and placing Chin-hui Tsao on the disabled list with shoulder problems that have plagued him since 2004, required surgery in 2005 and sidelined him the entire 2006 season.

There's no relief when it comes to facing the starting pitcher for the San Francisco Giants these days. Matt Morris was the latest to get the job done, taking a three-hitter into the eighth inning Tuesday night in the Giants' 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers. "Morris followed a great outing and he gave us one," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said after his team's sixth straight win.
Notes: Kemp placed on disabled list: Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday with a slightly separated right shoulder. To take his spot on the roster, right-handed reliever Chin-hui Tsao was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas.

Notes: Tsao doing all he can to make it: Chin-hui Tsao is pitching his way into the crowded bullpen picture for the Dodgers. Tsao, who underwent arthroscopic surgery in May 2005 and hasn't pitched in a regular-season game since, has pitched six innings, with one earned run and eight strikeouts.
