Jul 2, 2006 - At Wrigley Field, the Cubs outslug the White Sox to win, 15-11, in a game featuring nine homeruns. Winning pitcher Carlos Zambrano hits his 3rd of the year, off loser Mark Buehrle. In a birthday present to Angel Pagan, Sox reliever Cliff Politte serves up two gopher balls. Juan Uribe has 4 RBI for the Sox, including a 3-run homer.
May 26, 2006 - Carlos Zambrano walks 4 in the 1st inning against Atlanta, then loses his no-hit bid in the 7th when Jacque Jones loses a ball in the sun. The Braves rally for 3 runs in the 9th, one on a bases loaded walk by Ryan Dempster, to beat the Cubs, 6-5. Chicago has now lost 19 of 23 games.

May 13, 2004 - Dodger pitcher Jose Lima lead singer of Bando Mambo sings the National Anthem and God Bless America before the Dodgers-Cubs game He also pitches 5 2/3 scoreless innings of relief his longest ML relief outing. This comes after the Cubs score 6 runs against starter Hideo Nomo in the 2nd inning and roll to a 7-3 win. Carlos Zambrano strikes out 11 in 8 IP. Lima is believed to be the first player to sing the National Anthem since the Cubs Dwight Smith on July 21 1989.
