Neeman was a regular only as a rookie for the 1957 Cubs, when he led NL catchers in putouts and double plays. He was then relegated to backup duty, and thrown in with Tony Taylor on a 1960 trade to Philadelphia for Don Cardwell and Ed Bouchee. (DB)
