    Feb 2, 1970 - The Pirates trade Bo Belinsky to the Reds for Dennis Ribant.

    Aug 18, 1968 - Pitching for Hawaii (PCL) Bo Belinsky twirls a no-hitter‚ defeating Tacoma 1-0. Bo will fail next year in a comeback attempt with the Cardinals.

    Jul 7, 1967 - The Giants edge the Cubs‚ 4-3‚ with Bo Belinsky getting the decision over Jenkins. Jesus Alou's homer off Fergie is the big blow. The Cubs are in the midst of a 7-game losing streak.

    Jun 25, 1967 - Ernie Banks slams two 2-run homers to back rookie Joe Niekro's 3-hitter‚ and the Cubs win 8-0 over the Astros to sweep. Bill Hands hurls a 5-hitter in the opener to win‚ 4-1. Banks' 1st blast breaks up a pitching duel with Bo Belinsky and his 2nd caps a 5-run 7th.

    Dec 3, 1964 - In what is fine move by the Angels‚ California unloads P Bo Belinsky to the Phillies for minor-league P Rudy May and 1B Costen Shockley.

    Aug 14, 1964 - Bo Belinsky is suspended by the Angels after attacking sportswriter Braven Dyer. Four days later Belinsky is assigned to Hawaii (Pacific Coast League)‚ then suspended for the season when he refuses to report.

    May 23, 1964 - At New York‚ the Angels score 4 in the first‚ and the Yankees counter with 5 in the bottom of the inning off Bo Belinsky. That's all the scoring for the pinstripers as the Angels win 9-5. This is the 2nd game this season that the injury-plagued Yanks have started their regular outfield of Mantle‚ Maris and Tresh. Mantle will pull a muscle on the 26th‚ keeping him out of the lineup for 2 weeks.
