An early itinerant college athlete, Daniels played football and baseball under his own name at Villanova, Notre Dame, and Bucknell while playing semi-pro and minor league ball under aliases. He led the AL in hit-by-pitch three times. New York led the AL in stolen bases in 1910 with 288; Daniels led the team with 41. (CG)
