    May 8, 1979 - The Twins roll by the Toronto Blue Jays‚ 16-6. In the 7th‚ Twins Smalley‚ Kusick and Landreaux all homer off Toronto's Balor Moore.

    Jun 28, 1978 - At Yankee Stadium, Ron Guidry (24-3) allows four hits and strikes out nine in stopping the Blue Jays, 3–1. In the win, the Bronx Bombers manage just four hits off Balor Moore and Tom Buskey. The win keeps the Yankees in first place by a game. When news of the death of Pope John Paul I reaches the press box, New York announcer Phil Rizzuto observes, “That’ll put a damper on even a Yankee win.”

    Sep 16, 1972 - Expo P Balor Moore extends his scoreless-inning streak to 25 before serving up a 7th-inning 3-run HR to lose to the Phillies 3-1. The HR is the first for Phils rookie Mike Schmidt.
