The best of the three lefthanded-hitting High brothers played in the daffier days of Wilbert Robinson's Dodgers and was dubbed "Handy Andy" for his competent versatility. The Cards used him mostly at third base, and he was with them for pennants in 1928, '30, and '31. In only three seasons did he appear in over 100 games at a single position. (JK)
