Alfred R Cratty

Cratty created the baseball and sporting department of the Pittsburgh Chronicle-Telegraph in 1885 and held that desk until he left in 1906 to enter medical school. He later returned to work for the Pittsburgh Press. He was an early correspondent for The Sporting Life. (NLM)
